STYLE SNEAK PEEK: BTS on our location shoot
Let us take you behind the scenes of our latest fashion shoot and share a sneak peek of our new statement styles, which will be hitting stores very soon!
Preparation for our photo shoots starts months in advance with our talented team scouting locations and models, styling visionary looks and organising the enormous logistics that goes into creating a campaign.
Every outfit is a blank canvas influenced by personality, comparable to the way two artists can paint the same landscapes and have vastly different pieces. With this in mind, we look for locations that, like our clothing, tell a story, have character and are a place that the Picadilly Canada woman can envision spending her time.
For hair and makeup we wanted something that complimented the luxurious, nonchalant and classic nature of our range. This look was created by internationally published hair and makeup artist, Anna Nenoiu, who has worked with high profile clients such as Gucci, Lady Gaga, Harper’s Bazaar, Victoria’s Secret and was a spokesperson for Gorgio Armani!
The styles in this collection feature satin looks, embroidery and lace overlays, while the mid to heavy-weight pieces are crafted from luxurious velvet, faux suede and knitted pointe. Exaggerated fuses and finishes achieve high end looks, while retaining a comfortable stretch and shape. Cuts continue to flatter with block-out waist panels, hip skimming princess cuts and longer length shirts.
A sense of opulence is key this season and our gorgeous model, who flew in from New York, couldn’t have fit the brief more perfectly. Emily Van Raay may look familiar to you, having been a cover girl for Elle and featuring in European Cosmopolitans magazines.
The Picadilly design team curates high quality fabrics, sources intricate embellishments and innovates by creating their own rules. Stylist, Mark John Tripp, paired these looks with luxury accents and accessories. We were thrilled to once again work with Markus, who has styled for big name clients such as Mila Kunis, Adidas and Nordstrom.
Our styles were shot beautifully by leading photographer, Alex Evans, whose talents have seen him shooting for Unviersal Music, Real Style Magazine and Aldo.
Picadilly Canada Head Quarters are proudly located in Toronto, Canada. This is a place where landscapes and streets are a mix of glaziers and grunge, the people are empowered, and the fashion is locally created and internationally admired.
